Hmm

Looks like at least a couple features could be modified.

Due to the amount of memory available I don't know how much additional info can be stored.

Atmel makes many AVRs, that particular one is a 8-bit Microcontroller with 64K Bytes of ISP Flash, 2K EEPROM, 4K RAM and CAN Controller.

The picture does not show the entire board to see if the ISP interface pins are available.

You probably need Zeva to tell you which AVR compatibility you need for that device as it is not one of the common ATMega type AVRs.

A serial port exists on the board. Id be willing to bet your able to program in circuit.

I agree, I am not familiar with that CAN line of AVRs, but a lot of programmers appear to work with the AT90CAN64:

I have confirmed with my meter that the serial port is connected to the microprocessor so ICP should be possible!

I've sent an email to Ian requesting some info hopefully he can share but I fully understand if he cant. Giving out source code is pretty risky. Maybe he can send me a flash that I can download to the micro processor with the changes I want. A custom screen with a logo or a grrr face when your pulling alot of amps would be cool lol
