Maybe Iím just reading that post wrong, but I was under the impression that the early first gen spacers were 0.143Ē..ish
I went off measurements someone else took, since I did not have one, and made spacers to match.

Thanks for clarifying the size, I had also gone off someone else measurements, so I will take your first hand knowledge on this one.

The main point on that post is that you need something of the same thickness of the bracket if you don't use the bracket in order to maintain the proper compression on the module cells.

I agree with you on compression. I should have worded that differently, I was thinking maybe the .143Ē I got was incorrect since I didnít have one to measure personally and the measurement you posted may be correct.

Yes, Gary (PingEye3) has helped most of us with his guidance, resources, and willingness to help..... Set me up with a lot of stuff to make my conversion a form-fitted breeze...

Apologies but I'm still a little confused on whether or not the Leaf G2 module spacers are needed between the cells? I am talking about the ones in this picture. If I look at the pack pictures it doesn't look like they are used?

No, I didn't use them nor did they come with my G2 modules from EV Battery Center.

Check out the pics in post #10 and you will see that nothing is placed in between the modules if they are the Gen 2 modules.

I just measured my 7 module pack that uses the spacers, and it measures 9" across.
