Default 7 leaf Module cover

I am able to print the 7 setup for now. Working on the 10 and 14 module. 7 module $30 plus shipping.

Couple of design suggestions. You want to make the walls thicker and "pre-drill" them so it's easy to attach a cover. You also want to leave some openings for balancing wires for the folks who will be using a BMS with their packs.

I took a different approach and designed individual brackets for each module. It takes a bit more filament to make those, but there is flexibility with the size / topology of the pack and also allows easy retrofit onto an existing pack (don't need to disconnect ALL wires to install these, instead can go module by module).

Additionally, there are other designs available on thingiverse.com :

Edit: just noticed in another thread that you do have an extra opening for BMS wires not visible in the picture above. Cool!

Dudes, if you want to share post your files in the 3d print thread it's in the design center. I've had quite a bit of traffic in that thread. I also have uploaded some files.

Nice work on the cover!

Thx, i didn't make the file. Gary did. Just fixed the print issue and printed it. One thing i noticed is it needs to be shortened up a little bit.

The walls are 1/4" thick, plenty for a #4 sm screw. I make the cover, drill it and then mark holes for cover. Much harder to align holes if they are in the base first. I use .060 aluminum plate for the cover, now that I am out of the plexiglass. Clear plexiglass is cool, but you can't see it once pack is installed.

BTW, nice design of your own.
