Default Lithium Battery help

In the beginning phase of getting materials together for my golf cart.
With that being said what do we think about this battery pack?

or should I stick with the Chevy Volts like every one else has done

Do you plan on running a 72v cart?

If not, that pack is going to be hard to configure for a 48 volts cart with adequate capacity unless the vmax cells are easily separated. I haven't done much research on them.

You'll find the best bang for your buck being Nissan Leaf modules or, for a little less voltage, the Chevy Volt packs.

Depending of what kind of range you're looking for, you'd probably have to parallel a couple of Volt packs to be in the 60-70ah capacity range which is a little more costly.

Thank you for the reply. I bought the cart used a few years back and it has a plum quick motor- I recently bought an alltrax sr48400 and new 400amp solenoid. want to go lithium for a longer run time. 70ah will get me about how far?? the kids ride the cart in the neighborhood and it is all flat.

I was toying with the idea of using the 24ah Cmax cells for an auxiliary battery. They look to be easily reconfigured. In my opinion I think you'll be disappointed with range, I would guess maybe around 10 miles depending on how much life is left in the batteries. With a Leaf 14 module, 58.4v, 100ah pack, I get conservatively 35-40 miles on the CC Prec. and 45+ on the RXV.
