Re: Alltrax XCT48500 YDRE
I have just plugged the new XCT control into the PC and opened the program, then ingeniously called Alltrax. I had tech support walk me through and explain each adjustment and most key features.
This control is great! Set limits for both armature and battery pack amperage draw under power and in Regen as well as motor rpm limiting. There is also 2 operating modes. Golf and Hunting. Golf mode prevents tire spinning starts, Hunting is more aggressive depending upon general settings. Turbo will no longer limit low end torque. Throttle and torque curves written on the same page is an improvement over the SPM control.... I'm excited. Did I mention every cart gets auto throttle range analysis and setting !? No more out of range throttle or especially nice will be no more CC throttle problems. Soon to come - select-able user modes |

Re: Alltrax XCT48500 YDRE
Now THAT sounds awesome! I always wondered every time someone complains about a CC throttle why Alltrax couldn't make their controllers "learn" the current throttle control device's pedal up and WOT parameters and then adapt, much like today's EFI conversion kits. It's genius!

Don't know if this has been posted but does these give the same speed increase as the DCX controllers ?

Re: Alltrax XCT48500 YDRE
Yes, they will give the same speed increases we are used to seeing with the old Alltrax DCX controls. Watch close for introductory sale pricing on PDS and IQ models too.

Will the IQ models come preprogrammed for a plug and play experience? Can preorders be placed?

We will be matching them up with the correct solenoid and providing the resistor and diode at the lowest price on the internet. As far as taking pre-orders, I hate to do it... just because it may leave somebody out on limb if something happened and the manufacture could not deliver, etc. So please stay tuned! I will post as soon as I have a tracking # Meanwhile - I am still shipping the XCT48500 YDRE with a super-duty 400a solenoid with resistor and diode for just $599 - take advantage of this introductory offer. |
