Johnson Controls is a large manufacture of batteries under several names. They make a lot of cranking batteries and now they have a deep cycle battery manufacture. Trojan battery had been for sale for about 5 yrs. prior to the deal.

If Trojan products start to slide downhill in order to "enhance profitability" and "enable a better return on investment" what is the next most desirable choice?

I want to say I doubt this will happen because the reason they bought this company was to put a quality golf cart battery in their line up. If you remember they had built a large factory in Mexico to make their own GC battery that was sort of a failure performance wise. So they know they bought Trojan know how. factories, and technicians. Makes sense to keep it making what they need.

I bought another set of Cr235 yesterday.
They have been good to me over the years for a little less $
I understand they are not available everywhere
There were also some pretty good economical batteries out of Korea in the last 5 yrs.
