Cool, welcome, I got a question, My truck, 95 chevy with a 350 runs a little rich when it idles. runs fine above 1000 rpm or so, no codes show up for anything when hooked to computer. plugs look great when inspected, just like they should be with no signs of running rich. at this point my best guess is a weak injector in the throttle body but I don't know for sure. I did put a new oxygen sensor on it hoping that would help, (no change) It has a new air filter and the truck runs great. I just don't know enough about the fuel injection system to pinpoint its problem. Got any ideas or opinions on what is causing this?
Thanks

I've come accross a few GM light duty trucks with the 5.7 litre TBI fuel sys with the same issues, now there's a number of things that needs to be checked first many times a vehicle poorly idling may appear to be overfueling like in your case with no symptoms thats the catch suspect a possible vacum leak intake gaskets, intake bolts torque, TBI gasket, brake vacum booster leak ect...a simple vacum guage reading at idle tells a lot normal is between 16 to 25 hg. at a steady needle reading if below 15 hg or a fluctuating needle suspect some internal engine wear (compression test be helpful) if all looks good check the MAP sensor (Manifold Absolute Pressure) this is also a fuel metering sensor as well as Coolant Temp. sensor make sure you have temp guage operation if you have a scanner in data check and make sure the ECM (Electronic Control Module) is in *Closed Loop* mode or you will have only basic sensor functions if temps run too cool (stuck thermostat) this will effect ECM closed loop mode so you have your work cut out for you start with the basics and work from there! hoped this helped some it can be confusing i know go at it clear headed and you'll find the source good luck!
