Default Not your neighbor’s Tomberlin Emerge

Anyone else see the Emerge on display at the PGA show? Long gone are the days of a golf cart looking like everyone else’s. I love this look

Everyone has a preference, or non-preference for certain brands of product. Half a room can love a product while the other half hates it, and they all have their valid reasons. I would like to hear your reasons on why you don't like Tomberlin these days, if you don't mind sharing.

Rear axle is the same Chinese axle as star/fair play, noisey & leaks. The brakes are constant problems with noise/chatter & pedal feel problems. The parking brake cable/latch will be a problem for the life of the vehicle. The motor controller & electronics are not easy to work on. The steering is a joke. We were a dealer for them once...NOPE. They came back last year trying to sell us on all the "cool improvements" they had made, couldn't tell a bit of difference...NOPE. Their rep didn't even know the difference between a golf cart, Ptv or Lsv, and he's trying to sell them! The few we sold as a dealer are what I call "boomerangs", the problems listed above will eventually cause the customer to find something better.

I appreciate all the information so I can go back and try to help Mike make his product better and get his team trained up.

Only one data point here, but I picked up a 'new' old-stock (2011 maybe) 48SS about 4 years ago and the only thing I've had to do is put water in the batteries. Quick, solid brakes, handles well. I'm very happy with it. I am looking to increase top speed and acceleration so maybe I'll come up against the 'hard to work on' issue. Let's hope not!
