Scotty's Corner... I finally get some sleep.

Well, not this time of year... Weather you southern folk know it or not Spring is here and it's time to stop shoveling snow and head for the lake in that hopped up golf cart you been working on all winter

I've got good news and bad. Good news is the new Yewey 48v/20a chargers are almost here. I started specking this build in January and the manufacture has been very helpful and thorough. We got Trojan battery techs involved in the discussion in late February and well here we are in April with a product. It takes patience.... Just a few more weeks until we can actual use what we have only seen in video before. The new chargers will have a big 20 amp output, a on/off switch, and an extended 54v float mode along with a very informative LCD screen readout.

Now the bad news... As the economy continues to move forward with reasonable gains big companies like Nivel and Red Hawk see the opportunity to grab more profits. Prices are going up immediately and we are scrambling to make price adjustments on our website. Please do not think badly of us we are only reacting to what suppliers are doing to us in this the peak of the season.

We look forward to adding a 3rd color to our hand-dandy digital in-dash battery meters soon. As always happy carting. Have fun and be safe.

Yep, companies like that make me sick. They do nothing but destroy smaller companies of hard working men and women trying to support a family! It's all about money and they could care less about anything else except where they can pawn off more cheap china made parts and take advantage of someone else.

A new Yewy 1200x charger with automatic extended float mode is due soon.
We have worked since the the first of the year to design and get this model to production. It seems our timing is good with the new Gen4 DPI eliminating the float mode. Stay tuned for arrival notice.

Nice corner Scotty. My wife has me sitting in the corner all the time. Or maybe I am the problem and cause my self to be put in the corner.

DPI does not communicate with the their dealers well... even my distributor was unaware

On a brighter note, I got a new Yamaha YDRE and I'm starting to tear into the drive system in the Yamaha Electric section. Stay tuned for more fun
