Default New Alltrax Line up of Speed Controls

Alltrax has released their long awaited next generation of smart controllers. Some of the features sound very interesting. New cooling fans eliminate the need for heat sink mounting. Auto sensing throttle input sounds simple. Out put direct short protection is a needed feature too. What shop hasn't had to call a customer and tell that when them they blew the motor, it took the controller out too? Looks like some simple color coded hook ups... And same old computer programming with a different cable = mini usb(2.0)
I spoke with Alltrax yesterday and they explained to me that the new generation has a much higher sustained output. The specs we reviewed showed a nearly 75% improvement in some models sustained output... I'm excited to test drive this!

I will be installing a 500 amp unit for a series build here in the shop. Strech LT, long top, rear seat, 23s, PQ Assassin . I will keep you posted with a complete review..... Contact me for prices

go figure... i just installed my new (to me) axe 500

bummer to see the move to on board usb (unless they are using something like a FTDI chipset for serial over usb)

the monitor function of the software still looks lame.

calibration function sounds nice. installing a aftermarket throttle pot will be much easier.

wonder why they photoshopped out the µC and crystal?

too bad they didn't breakout the pins for the LED. Controller status would be nice on the dash...

there are so many new options on this controller.....can't burn it up, works with ANY throttle input and the list goes on. Truly amazing. Alltrax has definately stepped up the game. I'm saving my pennies and waiting for the 500 amp 72v model to come out Can you say 50mph and a grin that Tide won't wash off?

At some point yes, I can foresee the old lineup becoming phased out but, as long as demand remains high so will the price.
$459 for 400amps DCX and HD solenoid kit isn't low enough ?
