Daihatsu Hi Jet Parts
Now that I got my EzGo, I am going to get rid of this Hi Jet. I'd just haul it off, but for anyone thats into these things knows that parts are a b*tch to find, and Id hate to send it to the junkyard when people can use stuff...
The engine is (supposedly) locked up. Tranny, rear end, still good. Frame looks decent. Body is topless, with safari doors. If you want the whole thing, you can have it for 150 bux. |

Re: Daihatsu Hi Jet Parts
No, its a 2wd.
Yeah, its strange without a top, however I actually did see a brochure somewhere that showed it available without a roof and the safari doors. Some "crafty" person made a wood roof for it. I was going to build a roll bar for it, and swap in a mid mount configuration VW aircooled setup in it, but I really got more projects going on than I can handle as it is. |

If it were 4wd or a minicab, I'd jump all over it
Have you tried posting in minitrucktalk.com? I'm sure there are guys on the Daihatsu forums looking for a parts truck :) rick |

Re: Daihatsu Hi Jet Parts
I'm not sure if minitrucktalk is the site I was going to for a bit, but I could have sworn you had to pay like $50 a year to place ads in their classifieds? If I was heavy into the hijet and was going to be buying and selling a bunch of stuff, or looking to sell a 5000$ hijet, then yeah, it would make sense. To the right person, the cart would be a steal at $150.. The rear axles and trannies sell for 5-800..
I was figuring maybe another redneck would just come along that would like to put it on top of a jeep running gear |

Re: Daihatsu Hi Jet Parts
I have a friend right around the corner from you that might be interested in the whole truck for 150. He is an older man that tinkers with mowers and things. He has one and I told him about it.
