Transporting

I have a 15 silverado with the 6'5 bed. I have a 99 club car ds cart. I can't get the tailgate to close. The tires stick out about 3 inches. I am in the middle of building a riser rack similar to what is used for atvs. How are you guys getting the cart to fit short of removing tailgate (tailgate has integrated camera). While towing travel trailer.

Can't you unplug the camera and remove the tailgate?

I've seen some other threads on this. Been quite a few suggestions on dealing with this issue. However, I don't recall if the camera in the tailgate was ever discussed. If I can find any of those threads, I'll link to them in this thread.

I have a 2012 Ram 1500 4 door, with a short bed. No camera in the tailgate. I won't be hauling a trailer, so I don't have that concern. My lady just ordered me a kit from this website, which is supposed to arrive today.

Don't know if this will help you out or not, but thought I'd share with you.

I linked it to a post I put in that thread, which has a link to another thread talking about ways of loading carts in trucks. Some good ideas!
