My first hotrod was a 67 SS Chevy II, coupe.. not the two door.
327, B&M tranny, 4:11 rear, tuck and roll. I miss it. |

They came in about any combination that someone could dream up. I have the build sheet with it. GM was notorious in those days to come up with any order possible.

Nice looking car. Not sure if you know, but if anyone is kicking tires asking if it is a real SS, only the SS hoods came with the 4 tabs under the hood where the simulataed hood grate studs come through. See the 4 arrows in the pic. Not a big secret, but I see alot of "SS" cars at shows that dont have real SS parts.

your point is well taken Bulky. The only year that you can tell a true SS from the VIN is in 72. If it has a 'K' in the 5th space it is a true SS. Mine does. I got that info from a nova site that is awesome. novaresource.org.
