23 hp cam whos running it?
If you read my other post Im putting a 16hp briggs in my g16. Well ive been wondering if the 23hp cam is worth the extra $60. Everyone I ask cant tell me if it adds hp over just swapping the stock cam out cause they either never ran it with the stock cam or added other mods at the same time. SO, has anyone swapped one out and what kind of difference did it make? I know it has more lift but does it have different duration too? Will it only add topend power and does it sacrifice bottom end in doing so?

i think its a must have mod. I only advanced my stock cam 1 tooth and i really like the gain

If you take the governor out you have to pull the cam,for $60 it wouldn't be worth the work not to swich.

I think what these guy's are saying,since you have the crankcase open spend the $60 it will certainly pay dividends as you add other power producing items.
