Some possible clutch options
I have been searching on the net a bit and found some insane looking performance clutches. These are meant to fit a Polaris, but supposedly the polaris driven clutch is a direct bolt on for the EZGO rear driven clutch spline. The drive clutch is basically a modified Rapid response type clutch with a light weight carbon fiber cover. Now granted, these clutches are far from cheap!! But they would just look incredible in any golf cart build.

Re: Some possible clutch options
I've thought about using a polaris takeoff primary, but yes I've seen those aftermarket ones they are sweet. Having been into sleds I can say a perfectly setup fancy clutch is maybe 2% faster than a well setup clutch in most cases, but they work nice and look cool. Some sleds have poor clutches where you do gain something significant by getting different ones, most don't. Just saying you may be able to improve your current setup, and if you have don't expect huge performance gains from a better clutch most are used for racing where a 1% gain is significant. And you still have to get a perfect setup in the new clutch to realize the gains. That said my 94c leaves things to be desired so far though its not completely dialed in yet. These stock cart clutches and the cheaper aftermarket are 60s-70s technology I wish they were not so far behind, but they do the job in a typical GC and are proven.

You'll have to check but I think the taper on the Polaris sleds are different than standard 30mm taper. I think they are called "deep taper"? I could be wrong though, something I read here somewhere.

Re: Some possible clutch options
I should have used more detail, I was told I could use an ATV polaris primary (like a sportsman). Lot of them buy aftermarket and sell the stockers. They are like the one in the photo, not as pretty of course. They call them a 285 or something, they are smaller diameter than the similar sled clutch. They are on ebay all the time.
