Cpp06 clutch not opening on de-acceleration
I have a 23 hp big block, installed a new driven clutch this summer, but sometimes when im slowing down the primary clutch on the engine will not open all the way and the belt stays very tight and sometimes kills the engine. Just wondering what it could be, thinking maybe the spring but i have the clutch off and it fells very strong.

Call Tom at CPP. A few of the CPP06 clutches have been reported to do that.

Its either opening too far because the belt is too small or it needs to be lubed with a dry spray lube.
