Default New project..Marathon roller

Hello peeps,

Need to forum, new to carts..
I just received, what I think is a marathon, no motor just rolling chassis. I also have a Suzuki Eiger 400 atv motor/tranny combo.. Any ideas on putting the two drive shafts together?

Welcome to BGW!
Depends on the year of the cart. Any idea of what you actually have?

Cart came stripped. Nothing but one tag to left of passenger side dash under compartment.

That's what you need. Post the numbers.

Looks like an 81 Marathon. It will be much more difficult to mod this cart since the driven clutch sits transversely.

Meaning the old setup sat inline with the rear end?

The driven clutch sits side-to-side. The input shaft on the rearend sticks out the front. Is that what you have?

The rear end that I have is the same type of rear end in a vehicle, but it has a small keyed shaft that comes out of it and the center section is offset towards the drivers side. Also has a disc on that shaft. But I also have drum brakes.

It has a differential that looks like a car differential with an input shaft pointing forward at an upward angle right?
