Those of u with a supertrapp
How quiet can u make them? Will they be quiet enough for a campground? With them being so short I would think they would be loud no matter. What do they sound like? Do they provide good power with all the discs in?

Re: Those of u with a supertrapp
As for sound, do a search on UTube. I'm sure you'll get plenty of videos with SuperTrapp exhaust on different engines.
I don't have any experience with this exhaust, but have always been curious about the way it works. |

Re: Those of u with a supertrapp
There are several supertrapp exhaust though and Im inquiring about the shorty that everyone uses. I understand how it works as the discs muffle the noise. Add more for power, less for sound.

Re: Those of u with a supertrapp
very loud like a harley with all discs and flows better, I went down to 4 discs about 30% quieter and less flow. What i dont like is the fumes this muffle creates so I went with a walker tractor muffler, it is straight through and quieter but still has a nice deep sound. I think it makes more power but have not gone for top end 50+ is a little risky.

Kawasaki...I'd be interested in buying that supertrapp you took off if you still have it.

Kawasaki, I put one of those tractor mufflers on an Onan generator that is also a twin cylinder. It does run quiet and the muffler is pretty reasonably priced.
