First ezgo conversion
OK here is the first ezgo. I will be installing a 18 horse Briggs. Got the can and rev kit from performance vtwin, comet clutch, and new motor ready to go.

Re: First ezgo conversion
Got a good start today. Stripped down and washed all 500 pounds of mud off cart, sanded and painted underside, and front. Got lift kit installed.

Re: First ezgo conversion
When I talked to the guys at the warehouse they said the kits were on back order for the last several months because of the shocks. I did not expect to see the kit as soon as I did, I figured it was a pipe bender I had ordered didnt even look at the label. So when I opened the box it was like Christmas. Got the cam and rev kit the same day. Too many parts not enough time

Re: First ezgo conversion
Made some progress this weekend. Decided to order a motor plate from CPP being this cart is going to the other end of the state I figured I would keep it simple. Not too sure about the filter location it sure is awful close to the shifter and limits belt options. Here are a few pics. Asides from getting this far the motor has been fitted with the cam, rev kit and timing key from Performance v-twin, and the 8:1 gears are also installed.
