Default Ok.. Help me choose !! Predator V-twin Vs. Vanguard 31HP

I know some of you may say neither ... but I got myself in a pickle...

Previously ordered a Predator V-twin for my 6 seater G2... last night I called to check on it and was told it was back-ordered 2 months away... I didnt cancel the order ... figured i would see if I could find a Vanguard or Honda motor... this morning I found a Briggs&Stratton 31 HP Vanguard Horizontal Engine 1-1/8" x 3" Shaft ... I found a couple of builds with this and bid/won ($1300) it on ebay at 10:05 am ... at 10:07 am HF emailed my predator is on the way ... FML!!!!

SO...

cart is a 6 seater Yamaha G2 lifted ...
My first golf cart build however I have built several extreme sand cars and I can weld... I'm not too nervous either way ...

Whatcha think ???

Boy, what a sad life you must have.

If the Vanguard will fit, I would install the Briggs. Congrats!

Agreed !! Lol feel like a douche even asking... "I have two playmates in bed ....hey guys which one first"

More just seeing if someone had an experience with either and had words of warning ...

Thx

Yes, I definitely have a warning for you...

Carry an extra pair of underwear once you get the Briggs installed.

True. I don't know if harbor freight is stocking that engine in their stores yet. At least not the ones that I've been in.
