Default 2 bbl set up

hey curious if anybody has a 2 barrel set up for a vanguard 18 they would part with. the stock carb isnt cutting it. marathons efi would be the best but im looking for a mod to do in a weekend and still have my cart for the rest of the summer. i know the intake can be bought new and ive seen the carbs for sale also but you just dont know if its the black or white pick up tube in the carb for the adjustable needle. i do not know where you all get that fancy lil 90 deg adapter at either. really im looking to save a little money over new parts. ebay searches turn up nothing for the intakes right now. im not looking for free, just less than the $300 im looking at for new parts

also a question about the bigger cams. my cart seems to go flat over 3000. i know the bigger cam will raise the powerband. is it that noticeable?

I had mine running at 6000 rpm this past weekend. Freakin flies. 2 barrel setup with a worked 18hp vanguard. I also have a huge performance can too though.

I've seen your build. Mine isn't setup for those rpms. I'll stay under the 5500 Tom told me with the rev kit. I've had it to 4500 so far, just doesn't pull hard after 3000 like it does under

Mine pulls like a government mule. It's all in the set up.

I know he did but I'll let him play coy. Doesn't help any but then "he can't help everybody "
