Please post lots of pic's I am about ready to order mine also, and would like to see another club car project come together. I don't want to hijack your thread but I have a question. How do you access the oil dip stick on the Vangaurd when it is installed in a club car? I have seen these kits in ez-go's but the motor is turned around in them and the dip stick is right there.
Just curious.

On the 18 hp we swap the valve covers so the oil fill is on the front. This can be done on the 23 also but the pcv hose has to be lengthened. As for the dip stick it would be located on the back side of motor and is a little tuff to get to though not impossible. Another option for this it it can be unbolted rotated around to the front and a bracket made to hold in this position
