Default 88 marathon big block swap

After a long process of getting the correct components together, I was finally able to get the swap completed and ripping down the road. I had a lot of remote assistance from a forum member, I'll let him decide if he wants to fess up to admitting to helping a "dummy" like me. I couldn't have done it without him, he is a wealth of knowledge.

I started with a pair of vannys. An 18 and a 14. Unfortunately the 18 had a somewhat major issue inside the block, so I decided to stick with the "little guy". I knew that either way it was gonna be a "big guy" when I was done.

I then lucked out, again from help from members here and found a me29 rear end on eBay that would be a direct bolt in replacement for the spicer stocker. Unfortunately the secondary on this rear was shot and seized, so I bought a new stock ezgo secondary. Not a huge deal, and new clucthes are a good thing, that way you know what you got.

I found the 14 on a cub cadet sitting in the woods for who knows how long. Believe it or not the the thing fired and ran (roughly) before I had the old timer remove it so I could bring it home. It was rough, and leaking oil from who knows how many places. But the internals were nice. Looked to be in good shape inside all around inside. Needless to say it needed a lot of cleaning. I tore it down to bare block and internals and scrubbed away. It took hours to do so.

She started looking like something after my fingers were raw and forearms were sore. I started gathering the internal components I was going to change and painting the tins so I could start assembly.

Spiffed up the valve covers. Wet sanded and polished some.

Finally got all the parts rounded up, painting was done, started putting back together. Now it really looked like I did something.

Got the motor buttoned up. Time for a little bench running. Ran smooth, got the idle right around 1000 rpm. Checked things over and ran for about twenty minutes at about 2000 rpm to seat the new rings.

There is a ton of stuff I'm skipping here, I know. Just putting out a rough time line. Questions are welcome, I'll try to answer the best I can.
Here is a pic of the 2pg set up, which I had modified to the peak of my abilities. There may have been something left in the old girl to squeeze out, but I don't know what it would have been. It ran like a top with zero issues. I knew once I started modifying it that I was going to end up here. Staring at it thinking about all the work I put into it, and how I was getting ready to tear almost all of everything in that engine bay completely out.
