Default Extreme Hunting Buggy- Extended swing arm

Hi all,

I'm starting a thread about my G9. I'm calling it "Extreme Hunting Buggy"

The plan is to drop the swing arm down and back. Enough to fit the motor seen below in this first picture. It's a Kohler Command Pro 26. Rebuilt and ported. Estimated 29HP

Tonight I will start tearing apart the swing arm and mocking up the new ride height.

COOL! Any way to fab an intake the would "hug" the engine valley? That would do wonders for heigth. Where's the build thread going to be, here/big block or lifted section?

I think big block would be the place for it. That engine looks about as big as the 25hp Kawasaki that I put in a G1.

With that intake housing sticking up you will be tight on clearance. Hopefully you can find a way to drop it down lower.

This should make for a fun build. I will for sure be watching to see what you do.

Ok,

1. How do I move this thread to another area?

2. Kohler offer low profile intake. The current intake is the HD intake for the exmark lawn mowers. It comes with a huge air filter. The HD is 4" tall the low profile is 2"

2. I had a birthday party last night. So my time with the barn was only an hour. I would've had the swing arm out but one of the bolts is messed up and I can't get the 14mm wrench on it. I'm going to torch it off tonight and remove the swing arm and disconnect the brakes and tranny lines. Here is a before pic.

The first time i saw that engine i kept thinking how much it looked like the engine on the lazer z X-series exmark i used own. There was never any grass that could choke that engine down.
