Briggs vtwin 24hp in ezgo st express parts list

Hello,
Im putting together a parts list for my big block install. I currently have the 13hp 400cc kawasaki motor and will be upgrading to a 24hp vtwin briggs....im ordering it thru CPP, with the upgraded cam and rev kit....other than the motor, can people here please provide me with a list of other parts i will need to order?
So far this is what i have:
1. Hours meter
2. Mount for big block (they dont make one for the ezgo st express soni will have to fab one)
3. Clutch (comet 780 or..?)
4. Belt (is there a high end preferred one? Or are they all the same?)
5. Headers/exhaust/muffler for the motor
6. Beer....lots of beer

Anything else you guys can think of that ill need? Motor mounts/nuts/bolts/cables/wires...anything you guys can think of?? I want to do it over the course of 1 week instead of reordering parts and waiting for thr mail

Welcome to BGW!

Sounds like you got it handled! Tom at CPP will sure be able to steer you the right direction with the clutch, belt and exhaust. Other than that, just make sure the beer is cold!!

Sounds like you have a good start. Hurry up and wait is the motto when it comes to building these carts.

I look forward too seeing pictures once you get started working on the cart.

equuis 8068 tach would always be a good idea , esp if removing the gov.

I didnt think about a tach! Im suprised i missed that! Super obvious i think. Thanks for that one!

The 89 marathon has fuel injection that fits a 23/24hp briggs vtwin??
Or am i not understanding??
Sorry, im a noob to golf carts, but not to wrenching on things. Just trying to do my homework before i dive into the project...im sure many of ya'll herr wud do the same

1989marathon is a member here that is developing a fuel injection platform for his 16hp Briggs Vanguard engine. It's not done yet.

I've never seen a 24hp Vanguard. If one exists, I'd like to see it please.

I know Don, I caught that too. I just figured he meant 23? Or maybe it's a Honda 24?
