Cool Big Block Decision?

Looking Into A Vanguard Upgrade Kit From CPP For My 93 G9 I Mostly TrailRide And OffRoad...Which Would Work The Best For Me 18 Or 23 HP And What Upgrades Do You Guys Recommend..Also I'm In It For Speed To.. Any Input Would Be Great Thx

18 HP with a rev kit is the way to go. Add the cam if you dare!!

Changes the push rods, adds spring spacers and adds an advanced timing key. You won't hurt the engine running at high rpm.

Not a very big job, I would have Tom at CPP install it so he could bench test and dial in. Tom said an 18 hp with rev kit and cam would out run the 23 hp. I don't have a cam in mine yet.
