The Predator engines are designed to be replacements for stock Honda engines in power equipment. So I would imagine the bolt patterns would be the same as Hondas Vtwins. With the cradle/mount you bought, the bolt pattern might be different, so you may need to drill new holes and might lose the front to back and side to side adjustment for belt alignment.

Some time ago I had a 22 hp Predator & a Honda GX670 on the bench at the same time. The exhaust header from the Honda did not fit the Predator....it was like 2 or 3 inches wider.

That's interesting. Maybe they aren't Honda clones. There has been some debate over this. We'll probably never really know unless someone does a complete dis assembly and review.

There is some difference in the fit of exhaust headers between Honda 670 and Predator 670 my guess is less than an inch but that might as well be 2 or 3 inches if you don't weld. Also the bolt alignment is different. Certainly enough difference that the header from one will not easily fit the other.

That's right SEVA318 there is some difference in the fit of exhaust headers between the two motors. That's why i'm cutting the flanges off the predator exhaust and using them on new exhaust.

Wouldn't mind seeing pictures of that process when you post the others.

Since you won't be using the Predator muffler - would you cut it apart and show what is inside and how it is arranged?
