Default Clutch options for an 18HP Kohler with the tapered shaft

Hello all, I had a project dropped off to me and It has the 18HP command Kohler with an unkeyed tapered shaft. What are my options? I am not opposed to a jack shaft, but would rather not tear down the engine to turn down the crank. Have i missed a buy and bolt on option?
Thanks in advance for any help. Have a kick bottom day

Check ebay for a 1" shaft crank. Seen some go for a decent price.

Thanks for the replys. I will try to get a picture for the Arizona guy. I am here right down the street give or take a little. So the crank shaft out put is a different taper than the clutch that was in a box. So the thickest diameter is 1.450" it is 4.040" long and at the end of the taper it is .750" . Is there any pulleys or sprockets for this taper? Any help or sugestions would be helpful. I mean like sell the engine and buy a crashed motorcycle, different engine? IDK looking for suggestions. Thanks.

Thanks for the Crank replacement advise. So, are the bearings all the same on the rods and or mains. Tearing it down and putting in a crank doesn't sound as bad as turning loose a a machinist on it. Once again thanks for everyones help.

No loose bearings on the rods or mains. Like any other motor, re install the parts in the order they were removed in.

They make adapters for the generator cranks.
