Default Fuel Pump Question

I have a cart that Im running 110 octane and for some reason I have replaced the fuel pump on it 5 times in the past year. I only drive it out of my shop in the mornings and back in at night. I have used brand new briggs fuel pumps, aftermarket metal ones from ebay (probably cheap ones). They have all failed, I just ordered the only Billet aluminum one I could find. It is basically a Mikuni design. At least it uses the same rebuild kit. My question is that it has a dual outlet. Can I just cap off one outlet or should i run it back to the tank as a fuel return.

Why 110 octane?

Is that for dual carbs?

You can just plug one of the outlet ports off.

I am also wondering why you are running 110 octane.

What about fuel pressure? Will you need a regulator of sort?

No. As the link explains, it is nearly impossible for a pulse pump to deliver too much pressure.

Got it.
Should have read the link first...my bad. I was thinking of an electric pump versus a pulse type.

Correct. My supercharger runs fine with a pulse pump supplying 4-5psi to a carburetor.
My electric EFI pump puts out 140 psi. I have it regulated at 43psi to the injector, and a return line to the tank.

Im running 12:1 compression, I know i can run a 110 and 93 mixture. I need around 103 octane to run properly. Im just too lazy to mix,

That would also work.In theory that would result in slightly less pressure due to the extra hose.
