23hp noisy

i have Eagle cam, Isky springs and high rev kit....power is much better than the Kaw. 620I but boy it sure sound loud rattly!!!!

i have the rockers set at .004.....it sounds like to me that the lifters are sticking when coming off the cam lobe.....

i have a Kohler 25hp on my sawmill and doesn't have rattle like the Vanny has....

anyone else's noisy like that????

Vannys are usually noisy at idle. You will probably notice it more with a bigger cam. Does the noise go away when you rev it up?

as far as i can tell it is quite.....neighbor says it sounds like roadster

What's the lift on your cam? Using aluminum rockers?

it is a Eagle V280...i think it's .280.....using the stock steel ones...

My 23 had 10 hrs on it when I installed a cam & rev kit.I've put over 200 hrs on it & it's noisy,runitlikeyoustolit
