Default Need a measurment...

Could I ask one of my Briggs (16 to 20hp) brothers to take a measurment for me? Need a measurment from the "outward" edge of the intake manifold to the fan shroud. This set up would have the carb "outward" of the engine, like my twin set up. Working on a single Mikuni set up and need to know if it will clear the shrouding. Also, any thoughts about if the "spacer" between the intake manifold and intake adapter is really needed. Thanks Dave

On the 23 hp it looks like 2-11/16" to 2-3/4" Hope this helps buddy.

For the size of that work bench, I'd say you need more carburation...

I have also wondered why that isn't done since the mikunis are used so much as replacement carbs on harleys. Nice carbs to tune.
