Default EFI for the small engine

Think of this -- a Vegas Carts 460 with Electronic Fuel Injection instead of a carburetor and a vacuum fuel pump.
A miniature computer - a learning computer - closed loop with O2 sensor to lean up the fuel mixture as necessary. It will remember the previous running map. Some carts come from the factory with a similar system.

Post your thoughts. This could be the best performance idea for the VC 460 yet.

IMHO A whole lotta money to replace a $25 carb that works just fine.

I was looking at the performance level as a learning / programmable computer. A system like this is got to be able to yield 1-3 hp. Your not going to do that with a 25 dollar carburetor.

Point 1) At $800 I doubt there are going to be many takers. Point 2) Another nice thing about the clone is it needs only fuel from the cart to run even in a total electrical failure in your cart you can bump up the idle pull the starter cord and drive it home.

Point 3) Lots of people spend $4k - 6k plus on a golf cart that goes 30 mph. Might as well add another $800 and have reliable fuel injection and better performance.

Point 5 ) I don't know where unreliable comes in. My G14 had the original yamaha carb on it when I changed to the clone. The original pulse powered fuel pump still feeds my clone That is 21 years of service life. The only problems I ever had were trash in the fuel related and certainly FI is more sensitive to that.

I think its awesome, but the price is way too high. I run an efi utv at times and its so nice, you turn the key and its running no matter what. It has more power than others that size too. People are trying to come up with something, it will happen at some point. Though DI would be better yet lol.

Why was my carb more than, way more than $25 Ray??? My giant carb! Too busy to play with it sucks rocks, I'm full up for two more weeks minimum.

I still have the $25 VC carb on. I am waiting for you on how to install the CVK.
