Default Installation of a 660 watered cooled Rotax motor

I have been asked if I can install a 660 water cooled Rotax engine in a golf cart. I don't have the info yet on what type. Can anyone shed any light and post some pics so I know what my customer is looking for. Thanks, Ted

Can you tell us what the motor is from? Rotax makes motors for land and water so it will depend on the donor.

I say, Piece of cake, do a search for any of the keywords. I think I remember someone even using a rotax before but there are several threads of builds using ski and bike motors.
How are your fabricating skills? Have you completed a build like this before?
Don't take this the wrong way but the first sentence of your post was a question, what was your answer?

Thanks for the search idea. I didn't know about the site search. I do alot of Ezgo frame stretches and big block installations. I just want to see what the build is. I don't like to marry a project. I like to do a good job. Everyones happy.Than move on to the next project. Thanks again, Ted

Check on Rifters projects, very clean work on a 1000cc bike motor install as well as others. Sounds like you have a realistic idea of what it will take so that's a plus. Walk us through it as you go and post plenty of pictures!!!

also warn your customer that low speed operation will suffer as the two stroke motors dont like to idle that much

Mount it just like the stock engine, or a big block B&S, I've always wanted to put the radiator up front but you can mount it on the side opposite the gas tank and add a electric fan. Final Belt alignment is under full throttle so you have to figure that out. Reinforce the motor mounts the sled has alot more bolt breaking torque, We need pics.

Make sure you get the engine mount plate from the sled that makes the mounting all the much easier. I have done it a couple times now with no issues.
