Default honda gx620 installed into a '99 carryall 1

im about to take on another project, install a 20 hp honda into my carryall 1.

i really have not seen any pictures with a honda in a club car, so i guess im blazing new trails.

it started stock then i put an 8" BU lift with 25/10-12 carlisle tires.

i have pictures of before and after on the lift, just need to find them.

stay tuned for a bunch of pictures.

8" buggies unlimited lift
25/10-12 carlisie 489 tires
Fe290 non pedal start, stiffer drive and driven springs

i plan to install a dual touch screen 5" cd/dvd two 6X9 marine grade speakers,

and like i said an Honda GX620-QXB1 brand new, 1" x 3" shaft, final cost after shipping was 702.55 is on the way

about got it done! i drove it but still needs some bugs worked out.

engine plate took two attempts but this one was much better in design.
cut up some angle iron and bolted it to the lowest set of belly pan bolts.
then i cut a plate that runs front to back.
then bolted some flat iron to the belly pan, twards the front
then i cut the same length from the engine pan, as the angle iron, to index the engine pan down, so it would somewhat be level, then layed some welds.

it was very hard to line up the drive to the driven pully, and then slotted it out. but it turned out great. all i did was drill the holes where i wanted the engine to sit at it loosest point, measured two inches forward, drilled two 1/2" holes, then use a cutting wheel to make the slot. biggest problem was the first time the plate wasnt square. that sucked.

the belt that i ended up using was a NAPA auto parts belt part number: 19T4440 price is 47.99 length is 44-1/2" 1-3/16 top width really good belt!

i had tom at CCP machine my clutch to accept a 1-3/16" top width belt

comet 94c clutch with the upgraded friction cover, works great!

any questions or comments just ask!

well it scoots real good, id say right at home it deep loose sand, just feels like it can pull some taller gears. i still have to figure out the throttle and some other bugs. but really have yet to see what it can do.
