Two barrel carb???

I'd like to do the two barrel carb conversion on my 18 hp vanguard, I do have the correct 20 hp intake and now I'd like to find the correct carb to get this done. Can anyone let me know what's the part # of the proper Nikki carb I should be looking for? And thanks, the help is very much appreciated!!!

There are many part numbers. The carbs you can use are from 20-23hp Vtwins, even the Intek engines. Just do a search on fleabay for "Nikki 2 barrel carb" or "Vanguard carb" and you'll find what you are looking for. The best one to get has the black emulsion tube on the bowl. Supposedly you can install an adjustable main jet on those, makes tuning easier.

From what I understand there's specific part #s that may have the black emulsion tubes. Being that the emulsion is inside the carb and you have to ask the seller to open it up to check I thought it would be best if I can narrow it down to the one's that have a better chance of being the correct carb with the black emulsion tube... Now I may be wrong but that's what I think I remember reading in here thru-out the years....Now I'm at a point where I'd like to do this conversation....
