Has anyone used these Digital Speedometer/ Tachometers on a golf cart with a Vanguard conversion. There is also many engine warning features. Thanks, Ted http://www.trailtech.net/computers.html

Re: Digital Speedometers and Tachometers
I have heard that street legal carts may need a speedometer. My friend purchased the speedometer only model. I will check and see what he paid. Ted

pic shows the magnet mounted on the hub, the pickup is zip tied on the back side of the spindle. I bent some sheet metal and drilled and screwed it on the hub for a base that the magnet could mount to. I've seen guys glue them on, or even use jb weld to attach the magnet. |

But what ruredy is talking about above with the bike speedometer, it works awesome!!! thats what i got on my sparky, and for what it costs, its the best bang for you buck. I just jb-welded a rare earth magnet to the hub, and it works perfectly. Spot on the GPS Any digital bike speedometer that allows you to input your wheel diameter will work. I picked mine up at radio shack. unfortunetly the magnet is underneath, cant see it in the pic |
