Default G-9 Oil filter help!!!

I dropped my Briggs 23 hp motor down a couple inches because the air cleaner was hitting the seat. Now the oil filter is hitting the frame. I would like to keep it here. Its using the Fram ph3614 filter. I was wondering if anyone knows a shorter filter or any solution to this problem. Moving the engine forward wont help due to the starter would hit the frame and almost does now.

Use the smaller OEM type Briggs filter. A 3614 will not fit on mine.

You can also put a remote filter on, and a cooler if you want. Napa used to have the parts though I would guess others do to. Not sure its needed on a cart but it does increase oil capacity and can increase cooling. The one on my lawnmower uses hydraulic lines and tractor places can make them up any size you need, actually the napa here made those too.

With a remote filter you can get the remote part for say a common V8 engine filter, that holds a quart of oil. Suppose you could go even to a larger diesel I don't know. Some diesels run dual remote filters. Though in a cart you may not want the extra weight of a huge filter and more oil, and you would still get more capacity from the lines and if you ran a larger cooler. There is one on amazon with 10 AN fittings for $31 that is kind I am talking about the hydraulic lines fit.
