Default Kohler Push Rods

Hello Friends, My question to all is, why the kohler engines cv25 and the ch27 hp have hydraulic lifters and solid push rods ? Don't under stand how the top engine gets it's oil unless it sprays up.Maybe why the famous bent push rods got started. Thanks
