Need a bigger belt for diesel swap cart
I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for a new belt. I got a call from my fabricator saying I need a 41" belt rather than the stock 39". Anyone know where would be the best place to order one? Do you think I should get a heavy duty belt since it's going to be used on a diesel?
I found these but not sure how heavy duty they are. |

Re: Need a bigger belt for diesel swap cart
I ran one of the gboost kevlar belts, top cogged, really nice belt that did not wear. I think its a atv/utv belt. But my new primary clutch did not like it and would drag the belt bad. So I had to go to a stock belt. It think that belt was wider like a 1.25 instead of a 1 3/16. Which works great on old clutches but this new 94c didn't like it. I ran that on stock and clone power.
Not sure I would spend much if you don't know exactly what size you need, yet. MCMasters lists tons of sizes, but you can buy them all over not sure who is a better place. |
