Thanks in advanced..I'll start

We just got power back last night along with cable tv and internet service. Lost my back screen enclosure and a few tree limbs and one tree snapped in half the water level is fine. We are fortunate to be ready for these storms I have a 7000 watt generator, accordion storm shutters CBS home with a new tin roof, window unit for the master bedroom. Also have my truck set up with an axillary tank it will hold 65 gal of diesel so that we can travel as needed. The hardest part is the heat factor we all congregate into the master to keep cool but no tv or internet makes for a long day.

I got about the same thing 38mph on gps with my 420 lifan clone, but that was with the stock block. Back then it had 22s (measure 23 tall), ported and cut head, timing key, header into car muffler, car airbox, 1.3 rockers, stock carb jetted, all stock in the block. This run the 94c clutch was not tuned it didn't work the best at lower speeds with the stock ezgo setup in it. I had to do a lot of messing with it to get it better.

Well after that I tuned the clutch and put a 32mm CV carb on it. Didn't see much difference but it ran nicer, started nicer, throttle was smooth and no more dead spots like before. Planned to do more so left it.

This summer rebuilt it with VC460 torque cam, billet rod, 1.3 roller rockers and chromo pushrods, cut the piston down, put a thick head gasket on I still want to run regular. I honed it to get the ring mark off the cylinder, put new rings in. So it ran slower than before. It broke in and got better but not much better than before. The VC cam is MUCH larger lobes on it. Finally worked on the carb and ended up cinching up the spring on the slide so it opened faster and it helped a lot, it has more power than before now without doubt. Still not screamed it down the road to see what it will do. I bought another carb a round slide no CV, a 30mm. Not had time to work on it. Trying to redo the pulse line it gets oil in it now when I wind it up then I will see if the new carb fits in there. Note I also put a intake on it with the CV carb so carb is now above the block. The stock carb was by the rear tire in the dirt and hard to get at. All I have is this short field run. As you can hear the clutch is working much nicer and I plan to tune on it more yet. If you listen close you can hear the vegas cam lope a little at the beginning.

I would guess it goes faster now but then again its not really my goal, I want it to take off best it can when I gas it at any speed. I don't run much over 30mph with it in normal use, and that field run was over 30. I run trails its fun the gas it up to the next corner but most of them don't have big straight open areas to go flat out and its not a utv either lol it can get too rough. I don't run any pavement with it other than a few speed runs for testing.
