Default Yamaha G-9 Build With Kohler 27 Hp

Hello To All, I started my build some while back and i will start with a couple pictures for now. I'm slow on the PC and spelling.

27 hp big block with a 99 dollar lift kit.....please reconsider that.

Thank you for your advice, I used shackles i had from a ez-go cart i got at the scrap yard. The engine weights 100.5 lbs and i have no ideal what the torque will be. Wish me luck for i have a lot to learn with very little money.God Bless

It's a great beginning. The swing arm looks good - does your engine vibrate much? I know the v twins vibrate less then the singles. Whats up with the front suspension? That one plate looks bent. What type of lift kit was it. Keep up the good work and post lots of pictures.

Hello Shepard, The suspension plate is bent and i had to cut the welds and reline every thing up. It seems to be all right now but looks off.The swing arm i dropped 4" in the front with ez-go shackles and also the lift with the same shackles.

I got tired of looking at the bent plate and covered it up. I will try to get better pictures later .

Hi Bob very cool air duct and filter. There isn't much room on top of any of the v twins for a cool air filter. From the looks of it, it's just about even with the top of the fuel tank. Keep the great work.
