Default Vibration Issue

I am back and chasing the vibration on my cc with the vc460. I have pulled most of the rear back apart checked all frame welds and made sure everything was square putting it back together. After long thought this is what I think might be the issue.

There is about 2+ inches between engine and transaxle to achieve belt tension. This mounts the engine forward on the mount plate placing most of the stress on the front 2 rubber mounts and there is far more vibration in that area than the rear 2 rubber mounts.
So my thought was if I had a shorter drive belt that would let me slide engine back 2 inches and that would center the load on the 4 rubber mounts. This is the belt I got with the kit...

I have know idea how much vibration is too much but I figure something has to be wrong with parts breaking.

Another great talk with Aaron at Vegas Carts. Ordered the 39" belt to try instead of the 42". That will let me slide engine back 1 1/2".
We couldn't figure out why my engine sits so far forward on the mount. Has anyone else put a vc460 in a Club Car?

My only guess is you could add two more mounts in the front, or find stiffer mounts. Its a trade off more mount power will put more vibration through into your cart frame. Maybe moving it will solve your issue. I am using the stock G9 mounts in mine but it does have a tension cable that I made a new solid bolt for. That sits in front under the gen belt, it holds the engine from moving back to trans under high torque. Its connected on the block mount frame to the cradle, has a rubber washer on it. You set it so it moves a little and it pulls tight under WOT power. Takes the pressure off the rubber mounts that way under full power and keeps your CVT belt centers distance from changing. Anyway, that was how the stock G9 was setup and I kept it in there, some mounts change it up. I just welded bars across the mounts and put the clone on them, hung the front lower to level it out. But the vegas mount is much differrent so not sure it would need one.

Is that a roller secondary on there, that looks sweet. Maybe your cart is different than the one he made the kit on. Sometimes they change things and do not really tell anyone.

I like the way my G1 is set up also and am looking forward to my G2 build. With the CC being all aluminum it severely limits what I can do. After looking at it again today the 39" belt should solve something Currently with engine and mount full forward the belt gets a little tension. I can pinch the belt together in the middle

A drive belt should have about 1.5 inch you can push down in the middle at rest. That leaves room for it to idle without moving the belt. Yeah I looked at a carryall2 seriously but with the alum I can't weld on and small clutches I passed on it. I really liked the idea of a longer work cart with bed to do a build on. Family had it could have gotten a fair price on it.

39" belt installed and engine sits more centered on the mount. Still have the exhaust to finish before I can test for improvements. Ordered exhaust pieces today and they should be here next week.

I just moved my engine to fit a longer belt, seems to be working better not sure if its perfect or not. Keep having company stop and can't ride the cart before dark lol. I made my mount so I had to pull the engine and drill new holes, that was fun.
