Pics of the VC 625
Pics are up with some details on the Vegascarts 625 cc engine on their facebook site. Who will be first to run one. The yamaha version is stated to be ready for black friday. Stay tuned. P.S. I see that is where the larger venturi carb came from.

Re: Pics of the VC 625
I have been e-mailing back and fourth with Aaron about which one of my carts to beta test the new engine on. I think the final decision is to test it on my G2 that has been waiting to be built instead of doing another engine swap in my Club Car since it is basically finished with the Vc460. I am hoping to call Aaron on Monday and get the order started.

Re: Pics of the VC 625
Oh ya there will definitely be a play by play of the build. I already have some of the parts for the G2 build. I am going to try and run a LT suspension with air bags instead of shocks. But if I have learned anything it is a build takes me where it wants to go. Since the G2 is currently a running, driving cart and I already have most of the improvement parts (minus the engine lol) the build should not take much time. There will be a race between the lightweight Vc460 Club Car and the heavier G2 with a Vc625.

Re: Pics of the VC 625
What do you think the difference in power will be, just more low end grunt / torque?

Re: Pics of the VC 625
I noticed on their website it says the 625 is 23hp.......and the 460 is 25hp. Is that a typo?

Re: Pics of the VC 625
It looks like the idea here is a much quieter engine. The speed combo for this one should be bigger than stock tires and high speed gears for a quiet demon. They also look to be producing an engine more usable on golf courses such as fleet sales. Also notice the 20 amp charging system with a high torque starter eliminating the need for the S/G. I am sure that will free up a couple more HP. I always did wonder how much power the S/G was taking away.
