I got some more done on the TXT added a down pipe on the exhaust and put a harley pipe baffle in the end.Got the throttle linkage done so that I have full travel of the foot pedal.Kind of looks like a rube goldberg but works very well just need to remove and paint.Front end is on.I will need to take carb off and put an adjustable idle mixture screw in and try to figure out a choke option.

How was the install of this kit? I'm close to pulling the trigger for my TXT just worried there are kinks w/ the new 625 vs the 460. Any estimate on the hours you have into the swap?

I would say it it the same as doing a 460.I would think it could be easily done in a weekend. The VC kit is pretty well thought out.Now mine is taking more time with paint, lights and me thinking my way is better than the manufactures.

I can tell you from experience it won't be easy to get the air/fuel screw out of the 24mm carb. It's epoxied in place then broken off. I used a micro fine bit in a dremel and cleaned up as much epoxy from around the screw as I could. Then clamped it in the mill with a very small 3/16 bit started removing just enough metal as to get hold of the screw remains. I used a heat gun on high to heat the epoxy with and it finally came loose. Then can the next problem -- the threads are a different pitch on the 24"s A/F screw then what you can buy for the normal Ruxin Carburetor. I recut the threads of a normal A/F screw to the right pitch and Wa-La -- one 24mm Custom A/F screw. Here's a few pictures of what I did
