Yamaha Kubota update
Hey guys,
Been a while since I've updated. The diesel swap is coming along slowly. Due to work i havent gotten to work on it as much as I would like. I got my dash all wired up and completed also made a gauge cluster. I am working on the fuse block now. I cut the hole in back of the cart for the radiator and working on getting that mounted. I got the clutch and belt on the motor. The alternator is bolted on and just need to make a upper mounting bracket and find a belt to fit. All I really have left is to finish mounting radiator and run the coolant lines. I need to run fuel lines, and figure out how to run the exhaust. Any tips or suggestions would be appriciated Sent from my SM-G935R4 using Tapatalk |

Re: Yamaha Kubota update
Looks like the exhaust has got to go out the side (in the way of everything) or down and out the back (lots of work/hangers).

Yeah the exhaust is going to be tricky. I plan on having it a passanger side exit out a dual exaust tip. Ill have to use some flex tubing to keep it from hitting the body. Thats going to be the most tricky part lol

Re: Yamaha Kubota update
I thought about a stack on it but I think it'll be loud for people behind the driver and it will be a potential burn incident with people not paying attention.

Re: Yamaha Kubota update
What model Kubota and did you have any issues getting the belt to line up without modifying the axle or chassis.

Re: Yamaha Kubota update
I didn't have any problems lining up the belt. It fit perfectly. I have a kubota d600 3 cylinder diesel.
I have it all complete and in the cart. Turned out awesome! I am now looking at the best way to stretch the cart. I think it will look awesome as a 4 seater cart and make a dump bed on the back. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=6bRaGMeqwpI Sent from my SM-G935R4 using Tapatalk |
