Re: VC 625 is in the Club Car
Installation is looking good
Now to find a pre '97 ccw rear end you would be good to go. My old '86 ds has the same gear ratio in forward as in reverse. I was under the impression that they were lower geared in reverse but one day I had it on stands and playing with my clutches, actually watching how they were working and I noticed that my speedometer read the same in reverse as it did in forward at wot |

Re: VC 625 is in the Club Car
Nice job. I think that is the first 625 I have seen mounted head forward.
Good to see more of the 625's that I know are being installed. |

Re: VC 625 is in the Club Car
Your new forward is about 17:1. You will be able to climb a tree but probably not go any faster than a stock cart.
If you put 8:1 gears in that rear end you will have a 12:1 forward. 6:1 gears will give you a 9:1 forward. |
