Default Big block slow on take off

Hi everyone new to the forum and would like to say there are lots of good info on this site, after searching I was unable to find a answer to my problem. I have a 99 ezgo txt which I have just installed a new 23hp vanguard which is all stock at the moment. I ordered the install kit and clutch with new belt from Vegas Carts. The cart seems slow to take off from a dead stop engine is reving good cart just seems sluggish about getting started like a auto transmission in a car when it slips is the only way I can describe it. What do you guys think could be my problem? Could it be the driven clutch bad? All the carts I have seen on YouTube that have done this upgrade seem to take off fast when the gas is pushed but mine will not. Thanks in advance for any help

If u can get a video of the clutches working thag will help
Your driven clutch might be to strong of a spring and the drive clutch has to over come that

There should be no hesitation, from the 23. When you go to mash the pedal, does the engine bog?
Does the motor rev well in neutral?
If the motor sounds and runs okay you need to look into your drivetrain.
The motor that you have is a torque master, with plenty of torque to spare!!

There is a slight 1 sec bog when I first go to rev it up not sure what is causing it. I plan to remove the governor and install a rev kit and tach. I am leaning to something in the clutches but I am not sure. I don't know why the video I took of the clutches will not work so I could get some info from y'all.
