Default Workhorse w/Briggs?

Going to look at a 2003 Workhorse the has a 2011 Briggs 479cc engine. What kind of horsepower should it make? Thanks

There's plenty of power in a stock 16hp Briggs Vanguard, with more hp possible with carb/cam upgrades. Is this the factory Briggs setup?

Pretty sure it is stock. The Briggs was mfg in 2011. I'm buying it from an 89 year old man who used it on his ranch. I'll see it later today.

I installed a Briggs 23, left it pure stock with governor, it has Plenty of power to keep Grand-kids busy and they probably won't tear it up.
