Is it Possible to Install a Predator 22 HP (670cc) V-Twin In a non lifted cart?
Is it Possible to Install a Predator 22 HP (670cc) V-Twin In a non lifted cart? I have a 06 EZGO TXT that I would like to put a big block kit in. I just do not want to lift it. Has anyone done this or know what would need to be done to make it work?
Thanks in advance. Carlo |

Don't know of one in a non-lifted cart. I believe the engine is too tall. The 420cc and up single cylinder engines can easily be installed due to the low cylinder angle.

I think it can be done. You would have to build a custom cradle for the engine that would drop down below the frame. You would lose ground clearance, but if not used for off road shouldn’t matter.

Look at the thread in this section titled "My G16 Sleeper".
It is a Briggs and Stratton v-twin. |

As stated above, this would have to be a custom fit to your cart. The air cleaner would likely need modified to save a few inches and the engine mount would probably need sunk down in the engine compartment. I'm unfamiliar with the EZGOs and not sure how they are set up. Maybe someone else will chime in.

Anything is possible.. Make a custom cradle that has extra long axle blocks and an extra long front drop mount. This will allow the motor to sit lower. You will however have very little ground clearance so keep this in mind when going over speed bumps. You can do anything with enough drive and knowledge!
