My G16 sleeper
I built this cart last winter. It's a 1996 Yamaha G16 with a mild built Briggs Vanguard. No lift, no special wheels or paint. I wanted a stock looking cart with a healthy power plant. Getting the Vanguard in there without a lift was a bit of a task. I had to get the motor at it's lowest point in order to clear the seat. That meant turning the carb outward and using the air cleaner on the side. Also building an engine cradle right to the swing arm. It's a great running cart.

Re: My G16 sleeper
That's very nice I was unhappy with the stock filter in the dust, but it doesn't look like you'll be doing much off-roading.

Re: My G16 sleeper
Gary, I have some questions for you on the G16 build:
1. How did you locate the engine mount holes? 2. Did you use the factory belt? 3. What muffler did you use? I have a G16 sitting here, and a 16hp Vanguard sitting here. I need to do this. |
